Ranitomeya Uakarii “Gold Legged” is a small poison dart frog that inhabits the Amazon in Peru, western Brazil, Colombia, and central Guyana. . They have bright red and black bodies with golden spotted legs. They do fine in male heavy groups, as females may eat other females eggs. They usually lay 3 to 10 eggs on glossy leaves, on glass, or sometimes in leaf litter. Tadpoles will be transported to water, but must be pulled and raised separately as the parents will not care for the tadpole.
