Oophaga pumilio Rio Colubre/Culubre is a small poison dart frog that lives on the mainland of the Bocas del Toro Province, Panama in the foothills between the Rio Changuinola and the Rio Risco. These frogs are light blue to dark blue, and have black spots. They do well in small groups, but do best as a pair or trio when sexually mature. They usually lay 3 to 10 eggs on glossy leaves, on glass, or sometimes in leaf litter. Tadpoles must be raised by adults because they feed with infertile eggs from the female. No more than a trio should go in a 20 gallon vertical conversion tank.
