Policies

Orders

  • We only ship Tuesday-Wednesday during the week for livestock orders. Any special arrangement needs to be addressed by email with our Customer Service department. Please email any arrangements to WestCoastFrogs@gmail.com.
  • Orders may take up to 3 days to process after payments have been cleared.
  • Live animal Orders received on the weekend, will be shipped on the following Tuesday, or the date selected on the order.
  • Dry goods orders will be shipped the following day. Orders placed during the weekend will ship the following monday.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accurate shipping address to deliver. Please double check your address in your order confirmation, and email us with any concerns immediately.
  • We will not give refunds for orders where UPS/USPS has determined there’s no safe location to leave package.
  • West Coast Frogs (WCF) is not responsible for unfortunate events such as misplaced, or lost/stolen packages during the time of transit. Under any circumstances UPS/USPS is responsible. We will do our best to assist all customers regarding any missing packages.
  • WCF has no control over delays of package during the shipping process.  We check and monitor all shipping hubs associated to the destination of each package. You would need to contact UPS/USPS customer service to help answer questions, and track your order.  We will do our best to assist all customers with obtaining transit information of your order with our shipping agent and team, and we will do our best to assist you through the process.
  • You agree not to charge back a completed order from West Coast Frogs. Once delivery is confirmed, any charge back will be disputed.

Shipping

  • Orders will be shipped to the address given at checkout.
  • WCF DOES NOT ship to P.O. Box address or out of the Continental 48 United States (No shipping to alaska, hawaii, or puerto rico).
  • Livestock WILL NOT be shipped to APO/FPO addresses.
  • WCF WILL NOT refund orders that were given insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid address.
  • NO REFUND on shipping cost for any reasons. In most cases WCF pays more for shipping than what is charged. Cost of shipping (which includes box cost) can not be refunded.
  • Shipping will be calculated at checkout. live animals and dry goods can not have combined shipping, and any orders that are placed with combined shipping will have an invoice sent to adjust any additional shipping fees. fees must be settled prior to shipping.
  • Dry good shipping will be calculated at checkout. In the event that the actual shipping cost is Significantly more than what is estimated at checkout, WCF reserves the right to send a supplementary invoice for the difference.

DOA Policy

  • If in the unfortunate event that you have a D.O.A. (Dead on Arrival) for Frogs, coral, or fish – upon opening your box, please send WCF an email with a photo within 2hrs of delivery confirmation by carrier, and do not open container/bag the animal is in. After receiving the photos, we will advise what to do with the DOA. dO nOT discard until instructed. If DOAs are confirmed by WCF and photos sent within 2 Hours, we will issue a store credit for the DOA Frog, coral, or fish. Often, we are able to replace the DOAs with the same or similar animal. Failure to notify us within the 2hr time period will void any guarantees.
  • All prices at checkout stand.
  • All live orders must have video of the unopened box being cut open, and the unopened bag showing the DOA animal.
  • We are not responsible for DOAs due to carrier delay.
  • PLEASE ASK any questions about our DOA policy before ordering if you are unsure.
  • WCF does not cover shipping Cost with any replacements. Customer will be charged shipping fee for any replacement item due to DOA.
  • West Coast Frogs offers a 24 hour guarantee on any live Animal purchase.

Sales

  • No guarantees on color accuracy, as colors may slightly vary from WYSIWYG items due to your light fixtures, camera lens, and tank environment.
  • No credits for any deaths that occurs after the livestock is removed from its container/bag, as noted in our DOA policy above.
  • Our prices are subject to change.
  • In rare occasions, if a frog or coral’s health is not superior condition, we will not ship the animal. We will offer the customer an alternate item, or refund the purchase.
  • All Live animal sales are final. No exchanges, NO REFUNDS.
  • DOA = Dead On Arrival.

Payments

We provide paid products within the site. we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect Your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Our third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
